Presentatie

The Rhône-Alpes is located in the south east of France and shares its borders with Switzerland and Italy. It is one of France’s biggest regions, and offers a wide variety of landscapes, ranging from the towering snow-capped peaks of Mont Blanc in the north, through to fields of olive trees in the south.

The river Rhône wends its way through the heart of the region’s magnificent scenery and the capital is Lyon, considered to be the gastronomical centre of France.

Visitors to the Rhône-Alpes are impressed by the wealth of things to see and do; from exploring the mountains and lakes of the Alps to wandering around the many historical and cultural sites; from sampling some of the best cuisine and wine that France has to offer, to enjoying a relaxing cruise down the Rhône.
